And hasn’t Harrington been appointed to the F A Trophy Final this weekend?

Yes, that explains why both have been removed then.

However, why did both Richard Wild and Charles Breakspear remain on their games when they are with Tony Harrington at Wembley on Saturday?

Given the number of weeks in a season where referees have done weds/sat or sat/tues, I would imagine Monday to Daturday wont not have been too hard for Tony..guess it was orecaution. Breakspear is 4th so no real problem there. Maybe with ARs feeling is he could do both games?

Yes, i understand that but why can't he do both, one game on the Monday and then the game on the Saturday. I understand Brooks being replaced as it is 2 days apart but for Harrington its 5. Can someone help me make sense of this??

Or, was it necessary to appoint him to the play-offs when he was in mind for the FA Trophy Final?

Doesn't the right arm talk to the left arm?

Completely different appointing authorities.  Play offs are appointed by PGMOL, FA competitions by the FA.
