Not overly impressed to be honest. Inconsistent foul detection, thought Stoke's 17 (awarded) fouls could have attracted more than just the one yellow card.
Obviously didn't get the memo re added time as only 2 and 4 added which to my mind was light even by last year's yardstick. Instead he got one that said free-kicks for offside on the touchlines could be taken by the goalkeeper in his own penalty area. Failed to play a couple of advantages and tolerated highly visible arm waving dissent. Yellow card for Ipswich keeper harsh as he had appeared not to have blown for an obvious handball with the ball running out for a goalkick. Handball was eventually awarded and  the keeper was trying to establish exactly where to take the kick from.
Far from terrible, but I was expecting better.
