Keith Stroud has not referred a game in the whole of September. I wonder if he might be carrying an injury. Anyone know?
Also there has been no sight of Jeremy Simpson at all this season. Again, injured
It’s interesting that Geoff Eltringham has not reffed a Championship game this season, though has been 4O on a few occasions. Strange
Keith Stroud has taken a coaching role so is no longer on the referee list

I’m slightly surprised, given how long Stroud has been on the list, that the PGMOL haven’t used social media for a thank you post!

I agree, as I believe by doing a game in August he along with Darren Drysdale) will have refereed for 20 consecutive years on the FL. Quite an achievement

Will his coaching include training up and coming refs in the art of slobbering over the match ball when picking it up before the game? 👅

Congratulations to Keith on a long career hope his move to coaching bears fruits.

Our friends at the Cottage will miss his visits to hold up the boards, guess they will have to rely on macho man.

Keith refereed five games this season, two in the Championship and three in the League Cup, concluding with Oxford v Preston in the Championship on 31st August. Whatever people may think about Keith, like others I find the lack of acknowledgement of a fine career very disappointing, I will assume that this is all official now and include Keith in my database of Final Games, and I wish him all the best for the future in his new role.
