Very happy with Robinson, definitely in the top two or three refs at this level and a solid, safe pair of hands. Pleased for him that he’s got such a big game when everyone expected this to go SG1. Hope he has a great game

Good set of appointments there in the Championship, however, interested on a few. I would of thought that the top of the table clash between Fulham and Bournemouth, would have been given a SG1 official. However, it is great to see they are putting their faith in the SG2 they7 have by giving Tim Robinson the game. Interested as to how Blackpool vs Luton have landed themselves Peter Bankes, but every credit to them. It's good to see a great experienced head in charge for the mighty Lancashire derby between Blackburn and Preston. Can't wait to see Ward for the second time this season after he was at Deepdale for Preston's opening game of the season vs Hull.

As for the other appointments, the Sunday game at the previously named Loftus Road, has been given SG1 Tony Harrington. Personally, I can't wait to see this guy officiate in the premier league, in the middle, for the first time. He did brilliant last season, and I have no doubt he will do well at QPR, in their clash with Stoke.

Nice to see experience being given to Coventry City, with their big clash with West Bromwich Albion at the weekend. Keith Stroud being given that particular game. There's a lot of doubling up in terms of the championship officials this weekend. Ward and Eltringham together at Ewood and Keith Stroud, has Dean Whitestone in his company at Coventry. Also, Oliver Langford is 4O at Barnsley and Webb 4O at Forest. No games for Langford, Eltringham, Webb or Whitestone. That's an irregularity, surely!

Nice to see, new championship official Busby with a game at Cardiff. Just wondering when he'll get his first involving Preston. Never seen him take charge of a Preston game before, will look forward to it when he does.

Good luck to all officials this weekend though and come on the mighty north end, let's get a win against Blackburn!
