Not a clue! Current climate covid related is 1st thought but there is always the possibility it is Red Star related. We've had a fair few storms and around here lately, it's a real wind tunnel so it could be as simple as the ferry being taken out of service & there is no other way off the island. It was very windy on Fri/Sat (I couldn't open my car door into the wind in our car park on Friday eve because it was too strong & had to text one of my male neighbours to come and yank it open for me so I could get out of the car!) so may have just been an unable to travel issue.  Currently that spot of water is possibly a crime scene after the SBS boys had a day out & bit of fun & games there yesterday afternoon so not sure how the ferry is working currently! (Can we just ignore bmb being completely oblivious to a fleet of military helicopters flying past her window at least twice!!! I was on #SolymosiWatch at the time in my defence & it took seeing my home town trending on twitter before I noticed anything was amiss!!)
