Very good game,

Only minor fault, let centre half get away with holding the centre forward first but then penalising the forward.

Thought AR was a bit sharp with offside flag, when player didn't actually get the ball or even get close to the ball, and a couple of times could have played on when the keeper had the ball but went back for the free kick.

I think we are all in agreement that WBA have been on the wrong side of two key match changing decisions by an inexperienced but promising referee. Instead of lambasting him as Sky has done this morning courtesy of Dermot Gallagher why not lambast those who gave him this appointment too soon and so therefore risk hampering his progress….why not lambast those that discard experienced campaigners like Andy Davies and Geoff Eltringham for younger referees not ready for this step-up and why not lambast the experienced Sam Lewis is AR who had a perfect view of both incidents and could have aided his less experienced and very promising colleague? Let’s hope this fixture doesn’t spoil Elliot’s season.
