Well then, there are some surprises in here all right.

Ward at Ipswich, Backhouse at Millwall and Langford at Wrexham vs Boro. I don’t think I’d have predicted those in a million years.

Josh Smith at Hull and Tom Nield at Derby

I’d suggest Hallam and Kirk are in line for playoff games as they only have 4O.

Good luck to all teams on the final day.

Very suprised to have SG1 John Brooks at Fratton Park for a complete dead rubber game, compared to some of the other games and the significance of them.

Superb game for Emily Carney, a possible promotion around the corner for her.

Very surprising appointments and can hear the groans from Ipswich, Wrexham and Middlesbrough.

Derby only had Tom Nield 3rd April … 3 games ago but not surprised, can’t remember last time we had a SG1 for a home game

Tom Nield for us at Derby on Saturday had him for quite a few games this season

Backhouse will have no problems at Millwall in my opinion he’s had an excellent season.

Very surprised with the appointment at Wrexham but hope it goes well for Mr Langford

Emily Carney is one of the promotion favourites for me. Very highly rated by UEFA and FIFA, and clearly the PGMO as well.

To be totally fair to Mr Ward, I have seen him twice on key live TV games this season (Millwall vs Charlton and Sheffield Utd vs Middlesbrough) and I thought he was very good on both occasions. Like all referees at this level, he is prone to a bad game but more often than not he’s a very safe official.

I am surprised to see him at Portman Road on Saturday but that’s not to say I’m disappointed.

Hopton back after a long time out. Maybe not a surprise Brooks gets a lower profile game considering his injury issues and probably not at 100% yet.

I wonder if Macho man would have had the Southampton game had they beaten Ipswich?

Personally, I would imagine so. He seems to be doing alright this season, haven’t read many bad reviews on him, plus he got a great gig on the boards at Arsenal vs Newcastle the other day and is definitely doing well this season.

Just realised, although Nick Hopton is returning from injury, it will be a great chance to pass on some experience, knowledge and tips to Finnie and Nelson, both who have been pushed and look likely to be promoted (SG2/SG1 respectively).

Whilst I am sure there were small, individual errors over the "big" games, it would appear none of the games were settled by poor decisions
(Slight query over Hull's 2nd goal for offside but it was tight)
Congratulations to all involved. For those who don't get play offs, rest up and come back fighting
Good luck to all those awaiting emails
