I do fear with no Italians involved on field in this match week that they are being saved for the latter stages.

After the dross we saw from them in the last few weeks, it’ll be a real kick in the teeth to the other officials who should be there on performance, and not based on Rosetti and his fellow countrymen.

Wayne Cartmel for our trip to Boreham wood and then Steve Copeland on Tuesday for us at home at both games, I see Mr Marsden has another game this weekend at Hartlepool

I presume Ipswich will be due another SG1 visit in a couple of weeks for that game against Middlesbrough. I'd put my money on one of Pawson, Robinson, Bankes or Harrington.

I would happily take Harrington. I wonder if Josh Smith might be in line for the East Anglian derby at Carrow Road…

Big game for Salisbury at Ipswich too… a game that was always going to attract some heavy artillery.

I was half-expecting a Smith or Donohue for Millwall and an SG1 referee for our game against Middlesbrough, but nevertheless I am happy with Salisbury.

Good appointments all round!

Royalty at Portman Road - the last time we had Salisbury in the championship we scored in the 97th minute against Southampton on Easter weekend. Wouldn’t mind something similar on Saturday. I’ll be at Portman Road for the first time since December so hoping to see a win and a good officiating display. On another note, good to see Salisbury back from injury.

Busby back in the middle this week and a TV game for Macho Man.
