Ballsy from Hallam at the best of times let alone on PL debut. Doesn't seem to have made a friend of Pep judging by his post match 'handshake' and comments.

Hope this one is analysed on a future mic'd up, would be fascinating to hear what two fifas in England and Barrott said to him and what he said back.

Little bit underwhelmed with Lewis Smith for the first league derby at our place against them lot in 14 years. Thought it might attract some royalty.

Very refreshing to see, particularly for a referee on a trial at PL level and glad he stood his ground - gets my applause for the right reason as opposed to Grealish's sarcasm 👏

Textbook from Tierney at Fratton Park last night - one of the best endings to a game I think I've ever seen...!

Will look forward to the heavy artillery at Fratton Park!

That's absolutely huge for Peter Bankes. Nice apppointment for Bramall - outside of those two a pretty safe and routine set.

Can only echo my thoughts to those involved also…fingers crossed for a positive update.

Sadly not, RIP.

Was at The Valley at the weekend and could see the paramedics working on the chap in the home end from where we were behind the opposite goal. Couldn't really hear the PA but they got him out on a stretcher and eventually abandoned the game 45 minutes after Donohue took the players off.

Gave my old man a hug stood next to me, 3rd time in a year we've seen CPR given at a ground! Norman Barker 'Headphone Norm' was massively popular in the Charlton fanbase by all accounts too. Desparately sad and thoughts are very much his friends, family and everyone he went to football with.

The joys of Sam Allison at Fratton Park on Saturday🫣

Agreed Attwell has missed an opportunity for an OFR for second goal, however, Oliver and on field team have been epic today. Exactly how it’s done.

Worried about Ricardo at Fratton, have never been convinced when I've watched him.

Always pleased with SG1 at Fratton Park, but feel slightly gutted for Harrington as more often than not he seems to be the one official left out of PL appointments!

Saw Elliot Bell at West Brom today. No issues from me as my team got out of there with a well earned point - but don't think he's quite ready for regular Championship appointments just yet.

Ryan Mason sent off and general loss of control towards the final stages, so much so that I wouldn't disagree with any Baggies fans who feel we were lucky to finish with 10 men and should've had a penalty kick awarded against us.

Macho man for Norwich on Saturday… he’s usually a frequent visitor to Carrow Road rather than away!

Will be sure to provide a full debrief!

How did he do?

Probably the most athletic bloke on the pitch! All decisions in law were backable - only real contentious one being a YC for simulation late on. One of those where if Ogilvie doesn't go down as theatrically then Martin probably points to the spot - instead, he makes a meal of it and Martin reckons he's tried to con him. If there's contact it's minimal and easily missed in real time.
