Jesus the way people go on you'd be forgiving for thinking that this wasn't there job.. We all have jobs where we are work five days a week or drive etc.

Professional referees are the same.

A clear red card missed by Taylor and VAR.

General Discussion / Re: Newcastle vs City- Kavanagh/Attwell

Offside and Kavanagh clearly says that “Man City no 9 is in an offside position as he is impeding the Newcastle defender”

People mightn’t like it but for me it’s the correct decision.

Proving how much a bang average referee he is without the backup of VAR. awful penalty decision and guessing game.

His fitness is absolutely incredible. Even in those final minutes when you think you're getting tired, he was on top of things. impressive once again.

General Discussion / Michael Salisbury - West Ham v Brighton
« on: Tue 30 Dec 2025 20:27 »
An extraordinary first half for Michael Salisbury at the London Stadium. Three penalties. - one to West Ham and two to Brighton. VAR awards the West Ham for handball, which I think is correct. I think that a yellow card is the correct call also. Kilman got a yellow before the penalty which was a borderline call.

More shocking VAR decisions from Michael Saulsbury. Should be a clear OFR for a foul. Barrott’s decision making is so inconsistent. Not a great day for FIFA officials.

8
The easiest penalty of all time. I haven't a clue what Madley or Bankes are watching. Scandalous.

Shocking from VAR. how they can say one is a handball and the other isn’t is beyond me. Stuart Attwell gave one at Newcastle as a referee the weekend and doesn’t give the first one as VAR.

How Paul Tierney continues to get away with mistake after mistake week on week is beyond words. A joke of a penalty decision

11
Sublime from Oliver. Awful from Attwell who is my view is a very poor VAR.

12
Continues at St James Park. A clear foul and penalty for the late tackle on Phil Foden. What is Craig Pawson looking at?

Standard intervention yes but an absolutely woeful decision in the first place. His positioning was very poor.

No penalty. Hits the shoulder first and then the hand. Correct decision

I often wonder if people in here are referees. It’s a clear penalty
