Did anyone see the incident Tuchel is referring to here?

Gabriel picked up a goal kick after the Ref had blown the whistle.

According to Tuchel the Ref said it was a childish mistake and won't give such a penalty in the CL quarter final.

Under the laws of the game, it's a penalty and there's no getting over it. He whistles and the player handles the ball.

Great penalty decision in injury time.. Why does it take David Coote three minutes to confirm it? Jesus it was stonewall...

Good use of England and Oliver there.. Easy one though.

Absolutely shocking and someone has to be held accountable.

Pity he and Michael Oliver missed a penalty for Brentford tonight.

Anyone else notice that Klopp failed to shake Chris Kavanagh’s hand at the end but did shake the AR’s hands either side? Very petty.

Klopp’s patronising, sarcastic, smile every single time a decision or VAR referral goes against him, however correct the decision is, is really beginning to grate too.

That's not accurate. He shook hands with the AR1 first, then Kavanagh and then AR2.

That's a shocking call. That's a goal. It happens in every set piece.

How in God's name does he not give a second yellow card to Casemiro there? That's just a simple decision.

I don’t David Coote on VAR for Arsenal v Liverpool after Howard Webb said he should have called for a OFR for the penalty when the two teams played at Anfield. Poor appointment

According to Law5, Oliver and Taylor are in Cyprus for the UEFA Advanced Course for top referees (Elite and Cat1) which it says runs 28th Jan. to Thursday 1st Feb.  As Oliver has the 12.30 game at Everton on Saturday, it would be helpful if he can get back late Thursday I would have thought. If not, wouldn't it have been better to give him a Sunday game like Taylor?

Incidentally, Stuart Burt is not with Oliver but is AVAR, with Kav as VAR, on Sunday.

Pleased to see Bond, Bramall and Welch with games.

Could the Andy Madley appointment be the Carabo Cup Final team hence Burt as AVAR?
