I agree, as I believe by doing a game in August he along with Darren Drysdale) will have refereed for 20 consecutive years on the FL. Quite an achievement
Keith refereed five games this season, two in the Championship and three in the League Cup, concluding with Oxford v Preston in the Championship on 31st August. Whatever people may think about Keith, like others I find the lack of acknowledgement of a fine career very disappointing, I will assume that this is all official now and include Keith in my database of Final Games, and I wish him all the best for the future in his new role.

Keith Stroud has not referred a game in the whole of September. I wonder if he might be carrying an injury. Anyone know?
Also there has been no sight of Jeremy Simpson at all this season. Again, injured
It’s interesting that Geoff Eltringham has not reffed a Championship game this season, though has been 4O on a few occasions. Strange
Keith Stroud has taken a coaching role so is no longer on the referee list
Congratulations to Keith on a long career hope his move to coaching bears fruits.
Our friends at the Cottage will miss his visits to hold up the boards, guess they will have to rely on macho man.

Will his coaching include training up and coming refs in the art of slobbering over the match ball when picking it up before the game? 👅

Congratulations to Keith for an excellent career. But he should have gone many years ago his performances have been declining for a few years

I’m slightly surprised, given how long Stroud has been on the list, that the PGMOL haven’t used social media for a thank you post!

In fairness to WR I did think it was a foul prior to Blackburn's equaliser although I am sure the manner in which his displeasure was communicated was the reason he was dismissed

I see Shrek was sent off by J J this afternoon at Plymouth.
What happened there?!

Gavin Ward on the Lancashire derby. Good to see Will Finnie getting another outing, from the start, I always thought he showed potential.
I am perplexed as to what the powers that be see in Ward.
Clearly he is receiving good reports on his performances to warrant such high profile clashes…but I am at a loss to explain how this is the case!
agreed wholeheartedly he refereed plymouth 3 x last season and once already this and he was dreadful in all 4 just totally inept unless of course he just dislikes argyle but I don't think so ,I think he’s just a very poor referee.
Well it seems we were right in our assessment. Ward and his assistants are being slammed by both sets of fans on BBC’s Have your say, with one poster going so far as to say it was probably the worst performance he has seen in 40 years of watching football. Interesting to see what view the powers that be take and what match he gets in the next round of appointments.

Macho Man sent to Coventry
-
Whitestone did this game last year
-
Game of the season in the Championship so far for Tim Robinson
-
Gavin Ward is clearly impressing someone as he’s had some good and regular appointments this season including a middle at Old Trafford in the league cup

Geoff Eltringham refereed Watford v Derby in August but other than that only middles in League One and Two.

Would it be beyond the realms of possibility to see John Busby on the SG1 appointments? Just wondering considering the positive feedback on his showing on TV in the cup on Tuesday and at Plymouth on Friday?
-
My prediction is to see barrott on Friday evening
