I think you will find that the BBC did see sense, and all the studio / pundits are based in Salford. Its only the main commentators and a couple assigned to England's camp are out there. Albeit that's still probably a lot of people involved.

i believe they are going there en masse to cover the semi's onwards.

ITV should make use of Jon Champion and Ally McCoist who are the best pair of commentators.

quite agree - they make a great, and knowledgeable, double act. jonathan pearce has always been another favourite of mine - right back to his 'robot wars' days.
