All bar one SG2 contenders (Finnie) involved in L1&L2, shows they mustn’t be struggling too much with the appointments in the Championship.

Plenty of dead rubbers to conclude the season.

Most teams will probably be on the beach already and will enjoy the conclusion of another hard slog in the EFL.

Neil Hair at Gresty Road, he seems to be getting mixed reviews recently…

Anything but a dead rubber for us! I think one of only 3 games across the 2 divisions where both teams have something significant to play for?

There’s plenty of referees I would have chosen over Ollie Yates but I’m not too surprised. He’s had plenty of live TV games this season with this another to add to his collection.

As the National League has now come to a close and the final EFL weekend approaching…

It seems a fitting time to thank aaa and Ben for all their hard work in getting the appointments up and here every Monday afternoon so thanks to both of you for this. It doesn’t go under appreciated from myself and I’m sure by other members on here too.

I’m surprised SG 2 weren’t conscripted as it affects both ends of the table.

Agree - this is the 3rd time we will be having Neil this season, and both times before that he was awful.

On a side note - I’m reffing on the Crewe pitch on Sunday, on the line for Crewe Alex women v an Everton XI

Shake the bag a bit.  It's only 7 weeks since we had Matt Corlett and Bradley Hall at the Toughsheet.

I didn't think Neil was too bad in the FA Cup tie v Donnies, but maybe my recollections are not as good as they used to be. 2000 fans coming from Cambridge to see them try to win automatic promotion. I hope AR2 Steve Durnall has a hard hat with him on that side of the ground. I shall be there..

And just like that, the season comes to an end! Best of luck to everyone supporting clubs still playing for something and a big thanks to the posters for an enjoyable season and the admins for their hard work. Hopefully any officials working their last weekend get a fun and drama-free final game.

Matt Corlett, Ollie Yates, Paul Howard and Matthew Russell with some of the most important league one games. Jacob Miles and Scott Oldham get the two mammoth games in league two.

Elliot Bell and Tom Reeves there with dead rubbers, I would predict that’s a sign to keep them out of any spotlight for playoff appointments.
Usually following Colchester United!

Hmm, seems like a load of nonsense to me - Cambridge Utd fan getting in his excuses ready for them losing on Saturday? 😂

Wondered how long it would take!!! Maybe a little bit of thinking from the appointments team would elleviate the situation although I know it will be the last thing from Neil's mind (perhaps Posh want CU promoted, guarantees at least 1 full house!)
