Having watched both I would opine that Helen Conley was significantly more impressive than Amy Fearn.
The game, despite being faster and potentially feistier was allowed to breathe and develop it's own character whilst still being entirely in control.
Last night seemed a bit stilted as though AF worried it may get away from her

2 markedly different semi-finals but both refereed what was in front of them rather than being inflexible. So credit to both. My "niggle" would be FKs awarded for what looked like fouls but, both in real-time & slow replay, looked more like attackers hurdling defenders in anticipation of fouls and falling to ground. Equally valid argument to suggest the attackers preferred hurdling to being clattered! Consistency throughout, although 1 Arsenal defender already on a 1st half YC fouled from behind late 2nd half - Ms Conley handled that well rather than instinctively issuing a 2nd YC which, based on players' reactions, was well accepted by both teams. My guess is that Ms Conley covered a greater distance in her game and, similarly to Clattenburg & other sufficiently fit and fast referees, was usually in the best position to sell her decision.
