The charities are more important!

I stuck it here as I figured the VAR thread was not the right place for it - should have linked to it in that thread though maybe.

The cup match was at the end of my 1st season working with Lilák. In the preseason when I started there I bet our gorgeous manager that we would win the Magyar Kupa and/or finish in the top 3 in the league but only if he gave me a kit shirt with his name & #1 on the back.  He laughed at me, took the bet & bought me the shirt, which I wore every single game - we won the cup and finished 3rd in the league! He is still paying off my winnings

Hate not being with him & our boys right now but we are Skyping regularly.  If he & I are still at the club when you finally get to Hungary, I will arrange for you to have a full stadium tour, lunch at the club & VIP tickets for a game. As I am on his team of staff if he leaves I leave with him, hopefully we will remain there though - Néni loves her boys.

You stay safe as well - I'm always around for a chat Skype/WhatsApp/email/Text/Facetime if you ever need to talk x

Lovely to read things like this. You are a true football maniac ----it takes one to know one and I have a good friend up here in the north east who will be very interested in reading this when I get chance to see him again ---he is also a real football maniac and knows more about non-league football  than  many people.
Keep up the good work --even if it is from a distance! I am an eternal optimist, in spite of what you may think with my many comments about VAR, and I just never worry about anything, a mindset I have had since 11 February 1985 because of an incident in Germany which changed my thinking on everything.
Stay positive and we may just get the chance to meet up on that trip in the future. x
Referee's decision used to be final!
