Sorry for this long piece 😂. Would love to hear others thoughts.

You would suggest Bond and Robinson are the most likely 2 for promotion next season. I think in the last few years, PGMOL has promoted less experienced candidates and its taken them well over a season to settle. I think then the 4 retirements last season has removed stability within the group and made them possibly the least experienced SG1 group I've ever seen. This in my opinion is a factor in the high profile errors made this year. Instilling Bond and Robinson, who've been around a while, is helping to build some experience within the group. They hold take less time to settle, meaning regular appointments can be given quicker.

Maybe more experience overall but not at this level. That's not to say they wouldn't settle quickly but rightly or wrongly (and it's the latter, imo) there is a huge gap in the level of pressure on a referee in the PL than in the Championship.

The games at the top of the Championship are worth more imo in many ways because they are the games that get you to the money league or see you miss out out on millions and whilst the pressure is still incredibly high, it's a big jump to the next stage.

Huge appointment for Tim Robinson, promotion seems to be on the horizon for him, Madley continues his run of good appointments, Happy to see Kavanaghs Prem return at the emirates (Sorry BMB), hope it goes well for him.

It was meant to be AT Bournemouth so I am really peed off with those doing the appointments. Means he won't get a home game for a few weeks if at all & they still owe me one from the rearranged one.  Best there be apology flowers, with no y****w in sight, being delivered to bmb towers in the next day or 2...

Good news… Bournemouth v Fulham on April Fools Day…. Kavanagh with Marriner for that?

Bad news…. Guaranteed yellow for that fixture!

I'll take it but with orange!

Great appointment for Tim Robinson, wish him well, it appears promotion beckons.
Huge games for Jones and Brooks at the lower end of the table.

Good appointments for Madley and Hooper.

Great to see Kav back on prem middles, he seems to be in North London quite a bit of lately.
Pity he has Bournemouth was hoping to see him at Villa Park for the Bournemouth game on 18 mar. He certainly better not wear Yellow.

The Villa seem to have royalty again after recently having Taylor, although as said by others looks like a replacement for Bankes.

Hope Tony Harrington can get back in the middle again soon.

Robinson most certainly with a challenging trial game with both sides needing results, he's also with the assistants he had at vicarage road a couple mondays back

More like a Halloween nightmare for Fulham with those two!

I wouldn't really say it is the newer PL officials who have been making the blunders on the field.

I understand Tim Robinson has knocked on the SG1 door a couple of times before so for sheer perseverance I hope it's opened for him this time.

A referee whose style I did not initially warm to but of late experience seems to have had the effect of making his officiating less angular.

Brooks with Forest again. Nearly half of his PL games this season have involved them

Two games in a row without both his usual assistants for team Taylor despite them being used on other games. No real alternative for Madley other than using Betts himself. No other reliable assistants really for such a big game available

Been 4 or 5 wrong offside decisions in recent weeks from Stuart Burt and Simon Bennett. Tight decisions but for top assistant referees, they would be hoping for higher accuracy.

Robinson and bond for promotion?

Hard to make a case against that if they decide to promote to SG1 with Smith and Linington also possible.
