Not pleased with Brooks.

Oliver still not with Bennett, back with City in a very short space of time.

Attwell with both Chelsea vs Man U matches.

Interesting to see Bobby Madley back with the reverse game that his brother refereed.

Hatzidakis back with Tierney for the 1st time.

Hooper with City surely rules him out of the cup final

What must Brammall be thinking given how few games he has had and yet again overlooked for an SG2 referee…..

Missy bmb will be a very happy lady.
Looks like Bobby Madley will be back in sg1 next season along with Robinson.
Another good appointment for John Brooks.
The big 2 for the title deciders.
Big games in the lower echelons for Bankes and Coote our ex FIFA men.
Nice to see Marriner with a game.

On the Premier League website it says Andy Madley is refereeing Fulham vs Palace as well as doing VAR on Spurs vs Brentford? Mistaken him for his brother

I had a feeling that SG2 would come in at the Cottage in a previous post for this weekend for what is a complete dead rubber.
I would also think that Madley’s team at Fulham has the smell of a play off final line up for League 1 or 2?

Things wouldn’t be the same without a visit from Stroud at least once for us in a season!

Oliver at Man City no surprise as is Taylor at Forest.

Bmb will probably have to watch Marriner in yellow at Newcastle on the MNF.

I think Bramall's last two games have involved Fulham? This thread would probably be in meltdown if he got a third! :)

Good game for Marriner. I'm a bit surprised at Bankes doing such a big game at this stage of the season. There's been a lot of talk about Oliver and if him not doing Newcastle games would affect other appointments but I think it was suggested Coote didn't referee Nottingham Forest but he's got the Everton game.

I think Tierney was already overwhelming favourite for FA Cup final but even more so now with Hooper/Kavanagh/Attwell doing Man City and Man Utd.

My other post wishing that Robert Madley (not Madden) was retiring at the end of the season must have been prophetic as I hadn't seen this car crash of a truly awful appointment for Fulham (and Palace) at that point. I've never rated his brother and I rate Bobby even lower. Why do potential SG2 promotion refs get foisted upon Fulham more often than anyone it seems?

I'd like to point out that Man City v Chelsea is a dead rubber as well, so why not swap Oliver and Madley over?

Hooper with city again- is that 8 games in all comps now. Big games for Marriner and Bankes at the bottom and brooks continues his goood run of games and looks to have overtaken Salisbury in the pecking order
Scott on boards duty again can’t get a game as a ref or VAR

Do we have to have Taylor, not saying this because he is a bad ref because he most certainly isn’t, but I get so much stick off my dad and brother when he referees arsenal games, because he gave us a dubious penalty in the fa cup final when we beat them, I would just rather not have him to avoid all the stick I get from my family

Robert Madley seems to heavily divide opinion on here which is of course the name of this site so that’s fine. However, to call him a rookie ref is some distance from the truth.
I believe Mr Madley has refereed around 100 EPL matches and spent 4 or 5 years on the SG1 referee list.
To refer to someone of that experience a rookie is either not knowing your referees or simply ignorant to even check.

An interesting set of fixtures. As has been stated I do wonder what Mr Bramall makes of his lack of appointments this season

All Bramhall needs to do is look at Simon Hooper - knuckle down, work hard, take chances when they come

Agree. He could also look at the number of PL appointments that Salisbury, Brooks and Harrington had last season and think that he has done rather well in comparison.

Or change his name to Robert Madley. As I have said a few times the writing has been on the wall most of the season and Webb and co. couldn’t wait to get him back in the SG.
I am sure some on here will rejoice but not me.
