A decent set of appointments, imo; however, I fail to see why it is necessary to appoint both Chris Kavanagh and Sian Massey-Ellis to officiate Leicester City again just 13 days after their appointment to LC's 3rd Round FAC tie !!.
I appreciate that one is an FA appointment and the other a PGMOL appointment, nevertheless, a gross oversight imo.

Happy with Pawson for us. The usual suspects in and around the south coast and the card shark from the Wirral gets the Lincolnshire derby in L2. Interesting that no SG are in the championship this weekend.

Not being funny but why does Watford v Burnley need Michael Oliver?

So are you saying that they aren't worthy of one of the top 3  (IMHO) officials?

A bit condescending arguable?

As a Grimsby supporter, I don't want a Hollywood. I want a referee who understands the football played at League Two level.

What do you propose though.  Oliver and Taylor can't referee the top four every week, so they have to referee the so called lower teams from time to time.

I can't believe Altrincham based Anthony Taylor has been appointed to a game involving two teams who are jostling for positions with both Manchester clubs. What a shambles!
David Silva olé.

As Mike Dean watches Tranmere regularly, think you will find he has a good understanding  of L2 football!

The big refs should do the big games! So when the big teams play the smaller teams like this week city are playing huddersfield and spurs are playing Fulham - using Marriner and Pawson is a waste of time in my eyes! Then when the big games come around you end up in a situation where moss and Friend end up being appointed!

You object to Michael Oliver being appointed to Watford v Burnley which keeps a “big ref” away from the “big teams”.  You don’t like a “big ref” taking charge of a “big team” versus “smaller team” match either.  There is only one so called big 6 clash this weekend and that went to Anthony Taylor.  Which game would you have appointed Oliver to ?

I wouldn’t have appointed him to one. He can have the odd week off can’t he?
