Oliver has a huge game at the bottom unsurprisingly considering newcastles position in the league

Cup final team at Wolves? Believe neither AR or Tierney has had the cup final

I do wonder if Marriner will get to the 400 game mark at this rate, as I think he's still around 4 short? I don't think he's had a PL game for 4 or 5 rounds now.

Possibly but who knows as I would assume Ledger is a replacement for Hatzadakis after you know what

I don’t think Oliver will be getting many teams at the top with Newcastle firmly in the CL reckoning.

Big game at the basement of the Championship for Bramall and Coote gets another London derby.

Shame for Oliver but I am loving seeing Newcastle up there & would love them to qualify for Europe.

That’s because they keep using the same 11-12 referees. Gone backwards since Webb took over

Maybe not Newcastle, Manchester United or Spurs matches, as they're in direct competition for the Champions League spots. Could still be on the Man City vs Arsenal match later this month, as both are in the title race. Neither are in a direct battle with Newcastle, with an 11 point gap between City and Newcastle

I really hope Michael Oliver gets the City vs Arsenal game

Michael Oliver did do Manchester United on Saturday and Brighton the week before, so not sure we can read too much into the Newcastle thing at this stage.

I think there's a better mix of appointments this season but I'd probably agree with the above post that things have gone backwards a little since Christmas time, with some referees having very few PL appointments. Of course you want accountability so if the performance level from some really hasn't been good enough then fair enough but it doesn't especially seem like that's been the consensus of opinion.

Very good game for John Brooks, a little surprised by the appointment but fully deserved, i look forward to seeing his performance on saturday.
I wouldnt read too much to Salisbury being in the championship, he has done quite a few games this season in that league.
Gillett in the championship again, good game for Jones too.
Kavanagh and Attwell having an on field week off, rotation no doubt.
Quite a good set of appointments overall.
