Coote’s second visit to our lot… the other was another London derby. He’ll be after a gold plated parking space soon.

Bankes with the M23 derby, however the train strike will make for interesting crowd segregation!

The rail strike is the following day but I'm sure the effects will be felt by the time the game at Brighton ends. Why could they not have played the game on the Tuesday evening I wonder? Not sure that I'm happy with Peter Bankes for a game with increasing implications at the top and bottom of the PL. Andre Marriner, who has refereed a number of Brighton v Palace games in the recent past, would have been a better choice in my view. However I wish Peter and his team well.

Leeds last 4 home games:

Peter Bankes then
Paul Tierney then
Peter Bankes then
Paul Tierney again.

A distinct lack of variety at Elland Road with some odd appointing.

Hope Brooks remembers to leave his y****w shirt at home but bring his abacus with him...
Perhaps Mr Attwell will remind him.

Deserved game for Brooks after his performance last weekend

Yeah the PGMOL are not going to be listening to Cooper then if Brooks is back out there and with a game that involves one of the so called top 6

Wow all this time I thought my team were tinpot, never dawned on me we are a so called top 6 team now...

Perhaps not, but then I guess you could ask how many games really 'need' him - did Everton V Villa or Brentford V Fulham need him?

Taylor's clearly one of the best PL referees so he's going to be used a fair amount and it's a game between one of the top 3 and bottom 3 in mid March so there's a fair amount riding on it.

As far as we know, is Mike Dean still around as a dedicated VAR? Haven't seen his name on the appointments for a little while.

He is still active as far as we know. He hasn't had an appointment since the Mason/ Brooks debacle

Can someone (everyone) please explain the hatred of the yellow shirts? Personally, I'd rather hate Fulham's mint green away strip which has seen us lose both games when it's been utilised!

I hate yellow shirts, well I hate yellow everything actually but specifically yellow referee shirts. It's been a standing joke on here brought over from the old forum. Turns out I'm not the only one who hates them! That's however where it all stems from.

Don’t teams have to wear their second and third kits for a minimum set of games for some bizarre contractual obligation?

I think so and we wore ours at the start of the season and I hope I don't have to see it again the rest of the season it is hideous but won't clash with any refs colours
