It seems the Select Group referees love travelling - last weekend Graham Scott went from Oxford to London and back and then from Oxford to London and back again the following day!
Whilst I appreciate that Graham Scott came a cropper on this commute, Oxford to London and back (and West London at that) twice in a weekend is not the most onerous of trips.  Many of us refereeing lower down the food chain frequently travel similar distances for a midweek evening kick off after a day at work.  In a past life I commuted double the distance from Oxford to London five days a week by car at rush hour times.

I know that it isn't the most arduous of journeys but obviously it is not ideal for referees lower down the pyramid to be travelling to midweek games after work. I thought the whole point of referees going professional was to ensure better preparations and a more professional approach.

Why isn’t Simon Hooper getting any games?! It’s a joke.

Simon Hooper has been getting games https://www.theffacup.com.au/match/st-george-fc-v-sydney-united-58-fc-ffa-cup-31-07-2019/1068742#!/stats

He must have been in Australia for an exchange. This is a FFA Cup Rd 32 match from 31/07. He's even wearing bmb's favourite colour  :P

Shocking behaviour!

So that is actually him? I didn't watch as you very kindly gave the yellow warning! I know we do a few exchanges but didn't know we did one in Australia.  Mihaly Fabian, ex FIFA ref from Hungary is high up in the Australian Referee ivory towers. He might be head of refereeing actually.  Really lovely guy and imo a loss to Hungarian football.
