In my opinion, I feel that throwing Kavanagh into such a massive game is not the best decision after not having a game since March 2nd
Would unfortunately suggest that Atkinson was originally down for BHA V EVE. Good appointment for England none the less.

Hes been out of PL action since Man City Wolves on March 2nd with Covid/ Covid close contact. He has only refereed one game since his return which was in the Championship. All I am saying is that it wasn't exactly Mike Rileys best idea throwing him into such a big game having not refereed in the PL for 6 weeks and only 1 game in the last 5 weeks! On any other day I'd say he deserves it but at the moment there are better options (Attwell, Moss, Taylor, Oliver) edited to fix quote-hertsref
