Mike Dean with the championship relegation blockbuster at Derby.

Coote AGAIN at Fulham.. he must have a parking bay to himself nowadays!

Hooper with a dead rubber so to speak Pawson gets a good tie at OT.

I hope Chelsea V Arsenal goes better for Marriner this time than last!
Big game for Coote at the bottom.
Nice to see Dean in the Championship.
Has Lee Mason had a PL middle or even VAR since the West Brom V Brighton game a few months ago? Seems to have fallen right out of favour.e

England gets an important one at the top. Nice to see he's coming back into favour. A possible FIFA candidate for the future??

Oliver with an important one in terms of European places

Hopper getting experience with his game. Wouldnt be surprised if Tierney was due there as its rare to have Hooper in Premier 2 weeks in a row

Taylor getting the big one was always going to happen

Friend gets a good game after good performances in recent weeks at Newcastle and at Chelsea

Moss has really came out of favour recently. A lot of time in the Championship and dud games for him recently with the exception being Arsenal v Everton

Kavanagh back at Utd was unexpected, he seems to be the 3rd favourite ref now

Attwell gets a big game which is good for him. 2nd big one since internationals

Bankes gets another game. A lot riding on it as West Brom must win

Coote gets a massive one at the bottom which is good for him. He's more in favour recently too. Pity its at Fulham again tho. Wish there was more variety

Madley with a dud as well

Pawson unsurprisingly gets a massive one. Man Utd again tho after having them only last week at Leeds! Another place where Tierney possibly was

Let's hope Marriner does better at this Derby compared to his last one..... he seems to always get a big game towards the end of every season. He got Liverpool v Chelsea last year

Great to see Atkinson back with a good one

Another good set imo

Manchester based Referees with games involving both Manchester clubs. I still find this hared to swallow. I know the protocols are different these days but I still think it's "unhealthy" (for want of a word) for Referees to be appointed to local clubs, irrespective of their declared non-connections/allegiances.

That's because they support those clubs, it isn't unfair at all.  The previous system was unfair, such as Mike Dean being removed from a cup final because Liverpool were playing, even though he has no connection to them.  Or a London based referee not being able to referee any London teams, even though he might support a team from the North of the country or the midlands.

The current system is much better.

I agree 100%. I would have no problem with Messrs. Kavanagh or Taylor being appointed to the Manchester derby or Messrs. Bankes or Dean to the Merseyside derby (unless they have declared allegiances to one of the clubs) but not when the opposition is based in another part of the country.

And we haven’t yet had the pleasure of Michael Oliver this season!

I'm a Liverpool fan and we've had him twice since Xmas, actually make that once after last wknd postponed. I can't remember how many times b4 then but thats a lot less than usual for us. That's compared to having Atkinson 4 times since Xmas and should have been 5 but got COVID and missed the Arsenal game.

Great game for England on Friday night - off for a first year to be trusted with a match at this stage of the season that could impact CL qualification!

In other appointments, great to see Hooper given back to back games, he certainly has had a steady season. Pleased to see Marriner and Pawson get the decent double header in the week too! Hopefully Atkinson will make his comeback this week after missing out again Saturday.

Finally, Lee Mason! He has fallen well and truly out of favour! I’m surprised he hasn’t been given a PL game since the infamous free kick debacle. There are a couple of effective dead rubbers in these fixtures which would have been perfect to welcome him back. I do feel, and have felt for a while now, that he has perhaps overstayed his welcome in the SG1 group. Time to step aside and let someone else get the opportunity!

Good to see England with an important game, nice to see Marriner and Pawson with big games too.
I guess there werent too many options the pgmol would wish to appoint with Oliver being kept away from Chelsea and Leicester
Hooper could have been given a different game, and that games used as a trial game for sg2 promotion candidates.

Have to agree on the Mason front, wonder if he will get a game in the last set of fixtures and then retire?
I guess a certain w midlands manager may be pleased he hasnt whistled them for a while.

If Lee does retire, all the best to him, he was a steady referee in times gone by, but as you say has gone on too long.
