It does make me wonder whether this might be Mason's last season.

Anthony Taylor as 4th official and Neil Davies Assistant referee, both visit Villa park for the second time
Within the week on consecutive villa home games performing the same duties.

No problem with Taylor for me. Officials set to officiate ON the pitch do need to be rotated though

Just curious, who do you all believe will be on the Man Utd Liverpool game this weekend. I'd say Oliver since he hasn't had either team since before the International Break. I would've said Atkinson a month ago but now he's had covid and hasn't done a game since.

Michael Oliver would be the obvious choice although I think Stuart Atwell has been doing well lately and Andre Marriner is always steady, calm and reliable. However, seeing the way PGMOL work, they'll probably give it to one of the Manchester officials!

Taylor had Liverpool last week. Kavanagh on Spurs v Man Utd 2 weeks ago. Marriner had Liverpool on Saturday. Attwell had Liverpool v Arsenal 4 weeks ago so possibly but I doubt it. Unless they give it to a Mike Dean or John Moss then surely Oliver. Or a surprise appearance from Tierney????? Had Liverpool on same week Man Utd had Spurs but you never know!!!

I would like to see Atkinson get it , I think it is between him and Oliver , I think Coote has had a steady season and would like to see him in charge of a big match like that but can’t see it being this one

Its got to be Moss, Mason or Scott!
