I’d imagine that Bobby Madley was pencilled in for the L2 final but his withdrawal at the Cottage today would seem to place that in doubt.

Would they put in a SG2 with only one VAR match (Smith) on a Wembley final?

There is no disputing his ability but it could be a gamble.

You could well be right about Bobby Madley but I have felt for some time that this Play Off Final has had Rebecca Welch's name on it.

Some Wednesday fans won't be happy with Robinson, they haven't forgiven him for sending off Fernando Forestieri for simulation after he had nearly been chopped in half by a Michael Dawson lunge in 2015/16.  Granted he had earned himself a reputation for diving, but that one most definitely wasn't.

I would suggest said fans that harbour an mistake from 7/8 seasons ago probably need to get out more then 😂

Congratulations to Tim and his team on the appointment.

Congratulations to Tim and his team, hope all goes well for them.
Perhaps end of season promotions for all on field appointees ?

I like Whistleblower reckon Rebecca Welch name may be on the league two final appointments and a promotion to follow if all goes well for her.

To help She has the Manchester derby in the WSL sun 21 May.

I did say some Wednesday fans, I don't fall into that category.  For a season or two perhaps I did, but I'm over it now 😂

I wonder if they are waiting for a fitness update from Bobby Madley after he was replaced on the Fulham v Palace fixture.

Why wait? Just give it to someone more deserving

You need to let it go Hendo. We know you don't like him, no need to bring it up on every thread

Not sure of the rules around this, but he refereed the L2 play-off final two years ago (Morecambe v Newport).

Don’t think it matters for play-off finals. Rob Jones has refereed the League One final twice for example.

Thanks, that's why I queried the rules.
