That sounds like an Andre swansong back with one of his original pairings 😭

No surprises really bar Attwell, and no Pawson on field.

Bond on VAR is interesting, as is Singh Gill

S.Lewis the only SG2 AR on field, I'm guessing himself SG and Howson are up for promotion?

I'll have to give Dean Whitestone a wink on bmbs behalf 😉, also James Bell at Everton is, well, interesting!

Hooper at Leicester would suggest, as I mentioned in a previous thread, that he is now considered capable of handling the big games  - and rightly so!

No middle for Scott… surely this doesn’t mean he’s staying for another year at SG1?

I certainly wouldn't be surprised if we hear that Marriner is retiring as an on-field referee.

Not sure what to make about the situation with Graham Scott. If he was retiring you'd hope he'd referee a final day game. But I don't think he's refereed a PL game for several weeks now (Leicester V Villa is the last one that immediately springs to mind?) so he seems very out of favour if he is planning to continue.

I'd have liked Bramall to get a slightly higher profile game if he was going to be used - maybe something like Chelsea V Newcastle.

We did speculate about Bond being used as a VAR although I'm a bit surprised it's Brentford V man City considering Brentford still have a chance of Europe.

Coote seems to have had some steady appointments this season and actually most of the complaints seem to have been before the games rather than after them. He seems to have made good progress this season, as does Brooks. And of course Hooper with the most notable progress of all and no surprise that he gets the Leicester game.

Only real surprise for me is Oliver as VAR and Attwell as on field referee

I would of like to of seen Simon Hooper with the Championship play off final. I think his season has deserved a big final so a little disappointed he hasn't been given one.

Think i will give up on my ambitions of being appointment secretary.
A few good appointments, some not so favourable.
Not keen on Coote at Villa Park hope he proves me wrong, but more so hope he manages to complete the full game in the middle.
Good game for Andre and sadly as some have said looks like it maybe a swansong.
Tierney left out of the limelight along with Pawson, Kavanagh and A Madley.
Deserved high profile games for Hooper and Brooks with Jones getting the spiky Man Utd v Fulham game though most of the formers first eleven will probably be having a rest.
Oliver as var after refereeing the championship play off final the day before as expected.
With regards Scott, he certainly doesnt seem to have the confidence of his employers.

Attwell, Taylor and Hooper on the big games at the bottom, with the relegation places the only major thing to sort out. Marriner's likely final match comes at Arsenal. SG2 officials on board duties, with SG1 officials on referee and VAR duties. Largely, not too many surprises with this set of appointments

Few surprises for me in these appointments:

Bond on VAR for Brentford v Man City when Brentford have change to qualify for Europa Conference League. Believe it’s first time Bond has done VAR since 19/20 season. Maybe a game like Palace Forest would have been better.

Surprised cup final team don’t get a run out, but I suppose they want to shield them from any potential controversy.

James Bell as 4th official at Goodison Park, believe it’s his first season as an SG2 ref. I know there’s no other SG1 officials available but maybe a more experienced SG2 ref such as Stroud or Whitestone would have been better in case the unlikely happens to Attwell.

I was just thinking Southampton is less travel than Everton and it would be very neighbourly to go and wave goodbye to our dear neighbours!

I thought Hooper would be in the mix for one of the big games. Taylor was a lock to be somewhere.

Bramall at Old Trafford would have been a good experience for him in his first season.

Let’s hope Hatzidakis has a goof free game as he’s been off the boil recently.

Sam Lewis and Singh Gill from SG2 involved.

Rob Jones looks like he got the best deal with the shortest trip.

Lots of refs heading to London

Darren England gets the short straw from Doncaster to Southampton

Judging by a notable VIP listed at the match, you might be correct.
