Welcome back to the Championship - Tim Robinson for the 1st game. I have a feeling it could be the 1st of many, especially with no Bournemouth or Fulham for him to frequent.

Haven’t seen any footage yet but it seems it was a busy afternoon for Robinson.

Lots of yellows, two reds and a mass brawl.
I saw the game, I would say he was very consistent throughout. Both red cards were correct second yellows, He had no alternative but to send Hanley off after a very similar incident with Perry Ng.

In the first half his approach was to regularly call the players and captains over for a chat but he needed to be more authoritative in the second half. After the mass brawl, he was writing in his notebook for a good two minutes. There will probably be a charge coming for both teams. He dealt with it well and took his time. The brawl was mainly lots of pushing and shoving and it did not look like there was any potential violent conduct.

Overall a good performance by Robinson, I personally like his lenient, talkative style but others may like him to start booking people a bit earlier.

Thought Tim Robinson was good for 80 minutes and felt for the last 10 minutes + stoppage time, he was very reluctant to give free kicks to either team. I also felt that he got a few decisions wrong with the main one being the decision to give a foul against Cardiff's Mark Harris when it looked pretty clear that the Norwich player was pulling his shirt. But that's just me nitpicking and overall i thought he handled what was a very tough game very well.
