There was yet another incident involving Andy Woolmer yesterday.  The whistle was blown for something, which could have been for a penalty or simulation.  Woolmer then quickly had second thoughts and play was restarted with a drop ball.  It was all a bit messy.

Yes, I wondered about that and so did the Quest TV pundits. I think you are right SuffolkRef, Andy appeared to blow his whistle and then changed his mind and could then only restart with a dropped ball. For what it is worth, I thought that Andy was right not to give a penalty and certainly right not to have deemed the incident as simulation. Where he went wrong was in being too quick to blow his whistle, or at least that's my view on what happened.

Some handbags between 2 AFCB players

Used some common sense with the latter, unlike Junior Stanislas! Credit to Phillip Billings for pulling them apart and calming them down. Ref called the captain over and had a word with both players, together with no further action.
Hajrá Lilák. Csak a Kispest. Hajrá Magyarok! Hajrá játékvezetői csapat! Soha ne add fel. Nincs sárga kérem!!! No Chris Kavanagh doesn't live in Ashton or even in the Greater Manchester area!!

So Andy Davies and Akil Howson up at Middlesbrough - James Collins scores what looks like a legitimate penalty for Luton.

However after protests from the Middlesbrough players and manager, they forced them to change their decision for kicking the ball twice! They initially appeared to accept it as a good goal and took around 1-2 mins to sort out.

On replay it looks like it was the correct decision however the assistant is looking at the goalkeeper and the referee the players encroachment... how the hell can they say with any confidence that it was a double hit. Pure guesswork. The process is totally wrong.
