Am I right in assuming then that Concord Rangers who finished 6th in NL South aren't taking part in the play-off's?
Would this be down to their ground possibly?

Correct they are not taking part in them as they don't have the 500 seats that are needed to take part in them!

That is the requirement of the division above. Would appear any assurances made have fallen on deaf ears

Had they won the League they would have been able to go up and get their seats in place.

But they put in the rule this year that to take part in the playoffs you have to have 500 seats.

Concord's ground is not the best but it has accommodated large away followings on a number of occasions this season quite satisfactorily.

I have been there many times starting with refereeing there when they were a Sunday League side way back. On only one occasion (an FA Cup match against Mansfield) have I seen the seats anywhere near full.

This is the kind of nonsense that non-league clubs, who are largely run by unpaid volunteers often at their own expense, have to deal with.

Keep an eye out for Matthew Russell, he will be a FIFA ref in years to come. A brilliant young talent.

While my crystal ball is not as reliable as Heybigalllll's (is that the right number of l's?), having only seen Mr Russell once, I did muse on that occasion whether he was perhaps the next Up And Coming Star Of The Future. Certainly, he appeared likely to go on to higher things.

Pleased with both those referee appointments. Mr Kitchen was excellent earlier this season in the Warrington v Halifax cup tie. Mr Barrott's impressive progress has been followed from a distance since his early days at Level 4, when he was a sound first reserve for the Nield, Knowles, Waters dream team.

I'm surprised that a Durham based Referee has been selected for the Woking v Welling game. I'm sure there must be a southern based Referee worthy of being appointed or have they just chosen the best 2Bs?
