Rugby League Challenge Cup Final

I don't know who Sabrina Washington is, but her performance of "Abide with me" was an example of the tendency to ruin a melody by over-elaboration. The accompaniment was beautiful - the singing disastrous!

And now she appears again to mangle "Gad (sic) the Queen"

Fortunately the game is proving to be of a much, much higher standard.

I dont see her getting an invite back. Thought even the national anthem was beyond her.

Game was very good. 2 well matched sides until late on. Liam Moore did well, very low penalty count.

I thought the major decisions went st helens way, they were lucky they didnt have a man binned and a further 2 points down just before half time for a high tackle.
Wasnt sure the try by roby straight after half time was correct, even though video ref confirmed it was.
No conclusive evidence to overturn the last try, but i wonder how the on field referee could see to give the try, i guess umpires call situation.

Thought the lance todd trophy was correctly given to the best player on the field, Evalds.

Personally not convinced by moore’s performance.

A very good game of rugby league in very trying conditions ( pardon the pun ).

For nfo, I dont support any team in this sport.

As for the singing you cant beat Lizzie Jones, the wife of the late Danny Jones ex Keighley Cougars.
