George Clancy has retired from refereeing to take up a senior manager position in the Irish Civil Service

125 Pro14, 75 Champions Cup and 46 international fixtures as well going to 2 world cups in spite of having Type 1 diabetes.

Not a referee who inspired me with confidence, however, to have done all the matches above in a 17 year career is a feat in itself and good luck to him
