Gallagher Premiership Referees
« on: Sat 18 May 2019 09:45 »
As the regular season draws to an end today I thought I would share the number of games referees have had, split into the 2 halves of the season. First half has a few weeks which were affected by November internationals, second half by a couple of games in 6 Nations.

JP Doyle 10 + 8 = 18
W Barnes 7 + 10 = 17
L Pearce 6 + 8 = 14
T Foley 6 + 8 = 14
K Dickson 7 + 6 = 13
I Tempest 7 + 6 = 13
M Carley 5 + 7 = 12 (had injury)
C Maxwell-Keys 5 + 7 = 12
C Ridley 6 + 3 = 9

Others have 6, 2 and 1 respectively

From an Exeter Chiefs perspective we had Wayne Barnes on 1st game and not seen him since, JP Doyle only once, Luke Pearce twice and yet to have Matt Carley
Conversely Ian Tempest 5 times, Karl Dickson and Tom Foley 3 times, as well as Craig Maxwell-Keys who we had in back to back games

(Not sure how Man City fans would react if they only saw Michael Oliver once in a season)

Play Off Semis will be between Doyle, Carley and Pearce - Barnes to finish his domestic career at Twickenham
