Not a lot for the Aussie umpires to do so far in 2 and a half tests. There was an overturned lbw to not out this morning on Marnus L

Mine you it’s a shame covid hasn’t hit either camp yet. Might be the only way england will avoid another embarrassing 5-0 whitewash…

At least the technology is working in Adelaide

Shambles again. The only certainty, other than a poor England performance, will be Joe Root’s “we will take stock, learn from our mistakes and come back stronger”.

A ball bowled today hit the stumps but the bail wasn't dislodged - yet Paul Reiffel decided to give the batsman out LBW. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen on a cricket field. Thank goodness for VAR!

Once a bowler, always a bowler!

Almost understandable because it gave the stump a good thwack - he must have assumed that it had to be the pad.

It seems that Giles, Silverwood and Thorpe are carrying the can.
Think Silverwood was only carrying out Giles rotation plan, so a shade unlucky, nice chap as Silverwood is i think he got the job to early and they burdened him with too much responsibility.
Root keeps the captaincy, which was expected, there arent too many candidates to replace him.
Asking Stokes would be too much after his season out due personal issues and no one else should be guaranteed their place.
Interesting to see who, if any, miss out on the w indies tour.
