Who are we expecting for Finals Day? Saggers wasn't involved in the Q/Finals neither was Milns, Mike Burns to stand for another year? You'd think with the final ODI on Sunday it would rule out Wharf, Kettleborough and Illingworth?
My prediction is the standing umpires will be David Millns, Russell Warren and Martin Saggers, with Nick Cook as third umpire for the day.
I think Warren has been pushing for a finals day for the last two years, he has done the Bob Willis Trophy Final and many knockout fixtures in the last few seasons. I think he will be the next umpire promoted to the international list. This is Cook’s final season and I think the third umpire role would be a good farewell gift for him.
Last year, they had a change of routine as there were just three standing umpires and Neil Bainton was third umpire all day. The on field umpires were Martin Saggers, Mike Burns and Graham Lloyd (who may be in with a shout again).
