Was it the usually very reliable Michael Gough that had 3 decisions overturned on the one day in the first NZ test? What was the final count on decisions that were changed?
One of the most bizarre decisions was one given as 4 byes and not 4 wides. Yes, the ball continued to swing away but it was surely a wide when it passed the batsman. Don't think the wicket keeper, who hadn't a hope of reaching it, would have been too pleased.
