Andy Pycroft will lead the playing control team for the upcoming test series between Pakistan and England.
The 1st & 3rd tests will see Joel Wilson and Ahsan Raza on field. The 2nd test will be officiated by Marais Erasmus and Aleem Dar.
I think England can count themselves fortunate that a contentious decision went in their favour in a closely-fought 2nd test. The catch behind by the England keeper seemed to be clean, but the ball sticking down from the keeper's gloves certainly seemed to make contact with the ground. The benefit of doubt should therefore have been given by the 3rd umpire to the Pakistan bat. As it was, the Pakistan bat departed on 94 and England subsequently won by 26 runs.
