its not a case of qualifying!!!! its instead of friendlies and a competition where uefa nations are in groups with other nations based on where they are in the rankings ie 4 levels of rankings with the top being Germany Croatia etc going down to the bottom being cyprus etc the competition does have prizes which involve euro 2020
I know exactly what it's about James. It's a standing joke, you may not have been around long enough to have been a part of. My teams are Northern Ireland and Hungary, who never qualify for anything! Euro 2016 was the first time for either of them in over 30 years and Euro 2040 something is likely to be the next time!
Trust me were qualification needed we'd not be there!
