I think that the appointments of Soares Dias and Karasev probably confirm their Euro spots. Both have committee members which suggest that the publication of the final list is not far away.

I also believe that the committee is not 100% certain about Ekberg. It's the 3 committee member on his 4 last matches.

Pretty surprised about Siebert. His performance on Olympiakos - Arsenal was just satisfactory and I am not convinced if he is Elite material. I believe that he is being pushed to replace Aytekin.

The heavy artillery are out in force unsurprisingly.

I did notice that Piller is observing Kovacs??

Happy for Taylor with a big game. The only one of the 4 that is really close in terms of result in Arsenal so no surprise to see Cakir appointed

Happy for István & will be going to that game! Got a press pass for it. Better get my list of items I want brought from 'home' sent in quickly!!

More interesting is no 4O from Romania, I'd have expected Hategan to be 4O.

No issue with Mr Piller observing István as they are officially from different Federations.

Should Man Utd progress would they not play either Roma or Ajax, a game being Refereed by an Englishman, in fact one alleged by the hard of thinking to be a Man Utd fan?
Might it be understandable to anticipate comments from said hard of thinking individuals about this appointment?

Not impressed with Kovács. Some bemusing decisions throughout. Pogba very unlucky to be cautioned when he was fouled twice before that and very little contact. The way the Granada players surrounded him to try and get Pogba sent off was disgraceful and good to see him book Soldado for his antics.
Lost control a bit after this but then decided he wasn’t going to give free kicks for anything.
Missed clear foul on Amad Diallo in second half which probably would have been a second yellow.

Nothing majorly wrong but I expected more. Both him and Hatgen last week looked very unconvincing (sorry BMB)

That's ok.  You are allowed your own opinion including one where you feel a favourite of mine has not been up to scratch in a particular game.

The foul on Armad Diallo (bear in mind I barely know who any of the players are) - is that the one quite late on where there was a tackle from the side that ended with a stamp on a foot?  If so the player himself was obscuring his view, he was slightly behind and to the left of the player (when looking at it from the front view) and would have been unable to see the front part of the foot through the player.  The ball shot off in the direction you would have expected it to from the tackle. I saw it after on TV and that was a wrong call but given his view and position, which was as expected, one he couldn't do much about.  Needed some help with that one.  Pogba was also very lucky not to get a red card when he threw his elbow back when already on a yellow.  He did play a couple of lovely advantages as well on the positive side.

It seems that Soares Dias has earned the full trust by the committee. Didn't expect this appointment.

Νο surprise with Del Cerro on the other match.

I think Turpin is a certainty for the Europa League final now I think the second legs will go to Hategan and Siebert
