Important observer for Lahoz in Munich. This is probably the end of any English representation in the CL this season.

Both expected appointments for me.

Turpin had to get a QF ahead of Euro but gets the decided one. Pretty standard appointment.

Orsato for the repeat of last year's CL final. Not a surprise. Rosetti is known on favoring the Italians.

Cakir must have one of the other second leg ties one would think....

Good, sensible and expected appointment for Kuipers.
Not sure the city hierarchy will be impressed by the Grande appointment.

8th CL appointment for Kuipers this season. With his great performance, i believe there will be 9th.
Del Cerro Grande is also a uefa-favored one who totally deserves it but he is 45. I do hope he will be in Gdansk to ref EL Final if no Spanish team involved.

Slightly surprised that Del Cerro Grande has a game, he does have history with Guardiola IIRC.

Fairly insignificant observers for them both.... that suggests that Rosetti has probably got in mind who he wants for the semi finals and final.

Cakir must be a lock for a semi now, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Orsato has the other, but if all the English sides perish then Taylor has a chance IMO.

The final... has to be Kuipers.

I am also surprised with Del Cerro getting a game.

The final... has to be Kuipers.

In my opinion Kuipers has a chance only if Real Madrid get to the final and Lahoz can't be the referee. Lahoz has a decent chance of getting it if he recovers from his muscle injury.
Obviously Kuipers is the better referee, but he already has a CL final under his belt.
