Tie of the night goes to Taylor without question...

Ekberg under the radar of Rosetti and Massa with the other committee member.

Karasev returns but with an insignificant observer... perhaps he seems to be out of favour at present.

Looks like Andreas Ekberg is progressing as he’s got another decent appointment and Rosetti observing

Cracking game for Anthony Taylor and his team.  ;D

I thought this as well
I think this season Anthony Taylor is one of the highest ratest refs in the eyes of uefa

It certainly is and I am sure he is also. Evidently Taylor must perform brilliantly in Europe, hence these very high profile appointments. I would describe his domestic performances as good with certain obvious aberrations, like the FA Cup Final this year.

It leads me to wonder whether and why certain referees do so very well on the international stage and yet aren't quite so stunning domestically. Any thoughts anyone? I wonder whether it's something  to do with communications skill.

It's to do with who is running each institution. If its someone who you like, someone who is a good leader/motivator then you will improve. Likewise, if it's someon you like, and you know they have your back, then more than likely they will try and reward you somehow

Since Anders Frisk and Martin Hansson departed the scene many years ago Sweden haven’t produced a top elite group official.

Evidently Taylor must perform brilliantly in Europe, hence these very high profile appointments.

I have watched 4 games of his so far in Europe (this season) and he has performed excellently in all of them.  The latest match you could hear him speaking to the players and his communication with them was top notch. He seems to be very suited to International games, they bring out the very best in him.

He was a great ref! Weird at times but a great ref!

Especially when it was deciding which of them were going through in second place in the group...

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”  Laurence Binyon

Hategan with his fifth appointment out of five this season.

Stieler with another decent game.. he must a lock for elite now.

The mixed nationality team still persist. There must’ve been an issue for Manzano’s team with an Italian fourth official appointed to his game.

A fairly insignificant observer for the Turkish team. Are they pushing Ali for elite or holding back?

Tierney could get one seeing as he has Betts and Hussin with him, plus being a stones throw from Heathrow for a trip out to Europe..
