Totty watch at the Puskas Arena for bmb then! I shall enjoy the view from the press box.
A very nice view it was as well! Who knew the Puskás Aréna had a naughty step though... I am banished there after Mr bmb overheard me saying to one of the lady pundits from M4 "I would" !!! Oops!
Nyugodjon békében Márton Fülöp - 6 years today - never forgotten. The chants for him on 32 were beautiful and emotional.RIP
Very enjoyable game. 4-0 win. Both teams playing in a wonderful spirit. I feel for San Marino, they never give up and are classy enough to not resort to cynical fouls etc. Not sure Glova will ever have such an easy International match again, he was barely needed. Only 1 booking on 90+2 for a San Marino player, dissent I think. One nasty head injury moment in the last 5 mins or so. One San Marino player moving backwards in the box, jumped at the same time as a team mate and headed backwards, hitting heads with his team mate. Was not nice to see. Mr Glova stopped the game instantly and both lots of medics came on - looked a bit worrying for a few minutes but thankfully both players were ok. All 3 teams can be happy with their performances - San Marino for never giving up & just being classy in general.
Time to plead for forgiveness from Mr bmb, it's a long walk back to the hotel! Off to Belfast on Monday! Excited for that one!
PS Our Federation President, Csányi Sándor has given a long interview with portfolio.hu it's mostly business stuff about OTP bank & agricultural stuff but they did ask some football related questions including about the racism and what steps we are taking to combat it. There is a bit more about that in my NBI thread.
