In real time hard to pick up so no blame on Ref or AR who were looking at other things.
To me there is contact, which causes defender to stumble/fall and takes him away from performing his defensive duties. Not the "biggest" foul but had quite an affect. Worth a review by the referee?

Taylor for the Final?

I think it's quite unlikely.

I'd say Lahoz is favourite unless they're going to have a referee do it for a second time like the FA Cup ifnla.

Taylor for the Final?
So he can attempt to ruin a 2nd Final in the space of a month?

That's embarrassing and hugely disrespectful toward a colleague

So you feel his performance in the F A Cup Final was acceptable do you? I think you will find the overwhelming consensus on here, in the press and beyond is that it was poor and, in my humble opinion, nowhere near the standard to justify his continuing golden boy reputation with UEFA and FIFA.

It was probably a little harsh - Taylor undoubtedly has his qualities and I'm sure wasn't striving to perform poorly in the FA Cup final - but 'colleague' would require Hendo to also be a referee (perhaps he is?) and I think it's fair to say Taylor's not ready yet for a CL final and I don't think has performed to such a high level in Europe this season to justify such an honour.

He has spent about 10 years on here doing that!

Pleased he's not being punished after that Russian manager duped him.

Taylor seems to be preferred by UEFA so I'd say he's the most likely. Perhaps an outside chance of the other CL semi (or even the Europa League final if Man Utd don't make it) but I think it's probably too soon. Perhaps he might get the Super Cup in September if no English team in it.

Is there anyone with a more annoying whistle tone than Herr Brych??? Every foul is a 10 second rasp!  :-\

I thought United were in the Europa League  ;)

(It's certainly past tense now!)

Its a German thing.  I've assessed German referees and suggested they might want to vary their whistle tone, only be looked at by them as if I've suggested the World is flat ...  :)
