Orsato has Real Madrid V Man City which I'm quite surprised about - I think he's one of the weaker ones of the elite referees.

Tuesday

Chelsea v Bayern Munich
Referee: Clément Turpin (FRA)
Assistant referees: Nicolas Danos (FRA) and Cyril Gringore (FRA)
Fourth official: Frank Schneider (FRA)
Video Assistant Referee: François Letexier (FRA)
Assistant Video Assistant Referee: Jérôme Brisard (FRA)

Lyon v Juventus
Referee: Jesús Gil Manzano (ESP)
Assistant referees: Diego Barbero (ESP) and Ángel Nevado (ESP)
Fourth official: Guillermo Cuadra Fernandez (ESP)
Video Assistant Referee: Juan Martínez Munuera (ESP)
Assistant Video Assistant Referee: Ricardo de Burgos (ESP)

Real Madrid v Manchester City
Referee: Daniele Orsato (ITA)
Assistant referees: Lorenzo Manganelli (ITA) and Alessandro Giallatini (ITA)
Fourth official: Daniele Doveri (ITA)
Video Assistant Referee: Massimiliano Irrati (ITA)
Assistant Video Assistant Referee: Ciro Carbone (ITA)

After UEFA admitted Rochi got it wrong in the Chelsea v Ajax game it probably means Orsato is Italy's number one now.

Manzano under the Dallas radar too... he is miles better than Lahoz IMO.

Standard appointments elsewhere.

Very interested to see who gets Liverpool V Athletico.
After the first leg, it has to be one of the most experienced teams that Uefa has.
One of Cakir, Brych, Kuipers or Skomina.
I'd like to see Brych or Cakir.

Very god appointment for AT (not sure he's had a great few months but obviously highly rated by UEFA, and not too surprised by this appointment) and I think DM is slowly emerging as amongst the best in Europe.

I don't think Kuipers or Skomina have have had a Last 16 game yet so I guess they'll both get one next week and we'll probably end up with a different referee on each Lat 16 game.

Dallas is a replacement. Trentalange was initially appointed.
