General Discussion / Re: PSG v Istanbul

Reading through the Twitter messages, one in particular struck a cord. If the officials are now claiming that they were racially abused prior to the incident in question why did they not deal with it at the time and in acordance with the powers bestowed upon them as Match Officials?

Re-posted from another thread:
"Shouldn't Bournemouth have had a penalty when Milner cleared off the line whilst the keeper cleared out the player?"

Surely that would constitute two bites of the cherry (pun intended ;D) which is why referees have never given a penalty under those circumstances even though they would give a foul anywhere else on the FoP.

What a pleasure to watch Chelsea v Liverpool last night. A full-bloodied entertaining game, good refereeing from Chris Kavanagh and his team, and no VAR (I missed a bit of it but didn't see any references to VAR in the  remainder). Well done!

Just one occasion around midway through the first half when Van Dijk ang Giroud (I think) were having a full on 9 on 5 battle which CK gave as a defensive free kick but then there was a delay as apparently VAR were checking for Serious Foul Play. Not sure who was supposed to have committed it as they didn't show the replays obviously.

Having watched the video it looks like the caution is for dissent rather than the showboating.

United Counties League (Supply) which is made up of teams mainly from Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire has level 4's in the middle for the Premier division

I take it you did not have time to stay and take part in the meat raffle JCFC? It always goes down well with the locals if the winning ticket is claimed by one of the Match Officials!

Does anyone have details of removals from L3/L4? Be it for retirement, demotion or any other reason.

Why should we dictate what people say and how they express it.

Each to their own, live and let live.

Have a great day everyone

I think the red card is for the kick out on the 18 yard line rather than the hair grab.

Who appoints AR's on the replays, is it FA or CFA?

Hi all,

Firstly, well done. This is great, MUCH better than Tapatalk!! Appreciate all the hard work and effort put in by the Mods, Admins and anybody else who helped out.

Just one query from me, on the old site you used to be able to jump to the latest post in any discussion. This saved having to re-read posts each time. I have checked through the settings but cannot seem to find this (other than opting for most recent post at the top).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
