JCFC - it never ceases to amaze me the amount of time you obviously spend studying road and rail timetables in order to get to some fairly obscure grounds, and then spend more time in actually travelling to those grounds and then reverse everything to get back home sometimes fairly late in order to post your very entertaining reviews I suppose this is down to absolute dedication or madness!!!! (no offence intended) However I still enjoy your posts and long may it continue

As soon as I saw this thread I thought 'oh no' not another 'Coote bashing' and sure enough it has been apart from one posting? - I presume that everyone complaining thinks they can do better or could have done better when they were referees if indeed they were/are - surely if he is that bad he would be removed from the list but he has not - so is it always necessary to always be so negative all the time

I notice that in the Continental Tyres Cup in all 4 fixtures there appears to be no female officials - and I wondered why this is? - it certainly seems rather odd to me

Very unusal for the listing on this site to be wrong with an appointment name
Unfortunately we do not keep track of change to appointments 24/7.
Not meant to be a criticism but rather a compliment for all the hard work that goes into the listings - thank you

The FA posted an hour ago on there Twitter feed that Thomas-Asante has a 3 match ban for violent conduct, match officials missed it but caught on camera
If match officials miss an incident like this is there likely to be any repercussions for the officials concerned?

Although I did not see the match - it seems the only incident is the one mentioned here - anything good to say about her overall performance - there must be some good things to say/report - it seems a little unfair just to emphasise one incident - most other reports usually mention something positive about a performance

Chesterfield v West Brom - FA Cup Saturday I see that Ms Welch is due to referee this match on Saturday - interesting to see what happens given all the fuss refered to on another post

Wow what can I say simply the worst display of officiating I have ever witnessed in the FL and I have seen Willard and Kettle in their pomp. Erratic decision making to say the least can't say she lost control of the game because she never had it, inconsistent cautions, failure to identify players being targeted by the opposition, average fitness at best. I have seen better refs on the Northern counties east who never made it who were 10 times better than this. I hope I never have the misfortune to witness this official again!
Very scathing comments - I wonder what the match observer/assessor reported?

It is more likely a case of we didn't win - there is obviously a degree of bias here - I have just seen a video of some of the match made by a Barnsley fan with the headline 'shocking ref' - and comments during the video make reference to the Accrington penalty as being 'no way' but they were denied a 'definite penalty etc Obviously a clear case of 'fan bias' To be fair I didn't detect any bias about female ref although it was pointed at the start 'we have a female ref today'

I don't know how long this channel has been in existance and I can't understand how I've missed knowing about it - maybe its been mentioned on this forum and if it has I have obviously missed any reference to it But having found it by chance I would certainly recommend viewing it - it is very informative about all aspects of refereeing with interviews etc My apologies to all those who already know about it and my own ignorance of its existance

I guess the surrounding area of the ground and safety of supporters would also be considered - this might have been a factor at Luton??
Having been born in Luton and supported them for many years,I can't think this would be a reason, but wh knows?

It was interesting to note that all the Championship games were played whereas practically no other games took place - and I was just wondering why? -the weather being the same nearly everywhere - I suppose it is because the lower league teams do not have the resources (money, finances etc) to cope Any other reasons?
