Danny Cowley was damning about Sam Allison after their defeat to Crawley. Said he should not be at ‘this level’ and his performance was awful for both sides. I suspect a fine will be coming his way, his comments were that condemning.
Good to see the three retiring refs with games although it would have been nice if Dean had finished at Leicester, where he started on the PL, rather than Moss. I will update the Final Games database next week.
Although VAR would be beneficial in reducing any potential on-field errors in such massive games, I don't think it's right to introduce it during a season which is in progress as you're changing the conditions. For consistency, it's best to implement at the start of a new season if they're going to.
Isn't that exactly what they are planning to do in Scotland? VAR is going to be used next season but only after the November / December World Cup.
