Neil Hair presumably finished top of the NL ratings, despite having a nightmare in the Sutton v Bromley game, was brave enough to send Rovers’ Liam Ridehalgh off in the first minute of the play-off final and also sent Notts County manager Harry Kewell off at the weekend, for what seemed minor in comparison to the antics of say a Steve Evans. Haven’t seen enough of Mr Hair in action to predict how he’ll do.
Thanks, however with young officials, I try to remain open minded. I have seen on occasions they try a bit too hard, if it's there first game in that league, although we have also seen Rob Jones. Despite our 0-4 defeat, he was a breath of fresh air and you knew he was going onto big things.

Any comments on Mr Hair please? I predicted we may see one of the newbies getting an opportunity in L1 and we do indeed. Usual suspects on the lines. And a fairly standard set of appointments with Mr East on the big game of the weekend.

The three refs you mentioned from yesterday are all first years - Paul Marsden, Matt Donahue and Alan Young!
Interesting. All above named offficials have only officiated L2 and FL Trophy games, so I expect the trio are likely to be tested on some lower L1 games very soon, possibly from Saturday. I wonder whether a game like Plymouth Blackpool would be a good game to test one of these officials.
If so, it won't be Marsden or Donohue given their North-West location, but Young is a possibility.
Genius although I didn't put Hair on the list.

Could you someone please link me to a list of the various officials for each of various levels?
Many Thanks

Danny Makkelie seems a safe appointment, although I am yet to see him live. Will watch with interest tomorrow night.

You do for sure list some of the best officials, Busby/Brooks/Coggins are officials are very good and will progress higher. Breakspear is fine, not the best but fine, and Backhouse I haven't seen so won't form an opinion. Tom Nield has been the best official I have seen this season, on Saturday Pompey vs Argyle. Sarginson, unfortantly, hasn't made anymore friends in Plymouth.

When I was in Slovenia a few weeks ago in Ljubljana, I went and watched Ljubljana vs Crusaders and Mr Enea Jorgji was officiating. Firstly he is very young, looks younger then 34, and has a not too dissimilar style to Rob Jones. Very fit and wasn't card happy, respect seemed to be ooozing from both teams and I loved it. I think Enea Jorgji could be one to watch next few years, will keep an eye for his progress. Not entirely sure on his current level however?

Fairly standard set, lot of National Lists as a 4o. This year we have the other Salisbury for our "derby" with Brizzle. I like my namesake, and think he has a decent career ahead of him.

I first saw him when my team, Argyle, got beaten 4-0 at home and I immediately thought he is classy. His approach is like no other, calm and relaxed, which immediately gets the respect he deserves from players. He will be the UK's next big thing, give him a few years.

I thought Pompey Argyle may got too a SG2 official, and is a very good appointment for Tom Nield. Probably the best appointment of his injury plaqued start, in terms of a rivalry and a game tinted by history.

Good games for Jones, Brooks and Webb, to a degree. Jones is clearly going to be in SG1 next season and likely one of the best in the country eventually.

Good appointment for Tierney, definately deserved. Probert, gets another appointment despite his performance last week. Good to see Sian Massey return to EPL duties.
