Have a feeling Salisbury will have his hands full on saturday and will need eyes in every part of his anatomy. Hope all goes well for him, but fear this game may well blow up in his face.

Interesting to see reasons why jon left his position. Maybe there was a bit of head teacherness in the way he presented himself to the referees that wasnt liked, guesswork on my behalf. It is interesting to see England and Scott with games of recent.

Happy with both of our appointments - how lovely to see Graham Scott get a PL middle. In my view he has been very poorly treated. Always been a steady ref in our games previously so pleased his eventual middle is with us.
The wheel chair wont be blocking the car parking space then i assume, Hopefully the spray gun wont be required either. Agree with the way he has been treated.

Missy bmb is going to need a flight of steps - a singular naughty step will not be big enough for tonight...
They will have to be marked in the correct way for health and safety

Looks like someone might have a welsh stamp in her passport, as long as it is not yellow.

I'm not really sure why it took so long, Soucek clearly handled the ball into the goal. There's even an argument to say it was intentional, not that whether it was or not matter as his arm puts the ball over the line.
The commentator hinted at it I think (as they can hear some conversations) that, as the ball didn’t go directly in - it hit / glanced another player (striker I think) on way in - that accidental handball wouldn’t technically be an issue. I actually think it was completely deliberate - player used his bent arm deliberately to parry the ball.
Interesting question though - does another touch (however slight) after the accidental handball negate the accidental handball and therefore goal given? Would it have to be a deliberate subsequent touch (rather than deflection)?
Would explain the long delay, and Gillet being called to the screen, as deliberate handball requires his judgement. Also shows what happens when you mess with simple laws ….
Dermot Gallagher on ref watch hinted that checking offside first took a while and var told ref on field to expect a lengthy delay as lots to check at the outset. Dermot seemed to think that if the handball had been okd the goal would still have been disallowed as he thought Soucek Fouled Konsa in getting to the ball.

Excellent performance from Brooks, pity the kid that scored the winner took his shirt off celebrating whilst already on a yellow card. Think Brooks must be in with a good chance of the final unless they go Attwell or dare i say it Coote.

Can't remember the last time a referee delayed the game for a kit clash, rightly so however as the socks were the same colour, someone in admin at the WSL has had a shocker there.
Best part was they ended up having Arsenal play in the socks of the Chelsea away kit with the logo covered up!
And finally, I expect Ms Welch would've used her spare half hour to find an alternative to the vile she was wearing.
I am waiting for the day that a game gets delayed in darsetshire after team ref find that their shirts are missing 😂😂 not sure who would pinch them to burn tho? Very strange it was only noted in the warm ups, especially as it isnt the first time these teams have played each other.

Happy with him for this leg as he let the game flow unlike the referee in the first leg, not impressed with Porto’s tactics over the 2 games mind, time wasting after 10 minutes utter joke, maybe this was the only thing he could of clamped down on as there was a couple instances as well where we took ages over throw-ins but Porto was just constantly getting away with it, overall satisfied with his performance and I did comment that I was happier with this referee’s performance to my family in letting it flow and so we could try and play which Porto was content in stopping
On the referees performance, not sure what to say really, was it good or was it not so good? As for Porto tactics, they have to find a a way to win the game withing the laws of the game and to do so not all teams can play fast flowing, attractive football

Good appointments for all concerned especially Brooks. Best wishes to all appointed and hope all goes well for them.
Think the final is going to be between Attwell, Madley and Brooks for this season.
Possibly Kavanagh and Jones for semis assuming the big guns arent brought out, however Liverpool might scupper the Jones appointment.

Pretty good performance overall, one major faux pas but that happened prior to kick off. Wonder if he will get a cup quarter final, but then he will have to come off missy bmb’s naughty step first.

As a Villa fan thought Kavanagh and team were superb throughout. No complaints about the red brandished to Mcginn for his assault on the spurs player. There is no room for such conduct in our game. Liked the way Kavanagh took his time, spoke with his assistant Ar1 and fourth official via comms before reaching for the back pocket. Bad day all around for the Villa, who for some reason just imploded.
As much as my team will miss their captain, i hope this decision doesnt get rescinded, if it does it sends out the wrong message.
