Reports he is alert and responsive

No consistency with var again, seen that given as a red a few times this season

Been let down by his assistant Jobe wasn't even close to being offside when he tapped that in clear as day in real time as well

absolute nonsense its soft and Liverpool got away with one !!!

It's a foul in the modern game, we can debate the law and whether it should be changed but correct decision today

Should have given a penalty for a foul on Kane there, big questions on what var is doing.

I’m not certain it was a penalty. While there was certainly contact, Kane made sure that his left leg made contact with the goalkeeper. I think it was a blatant attempt to deceive.

Kanes step toward the keeper was before he knocked the ball around, he definitely didn’t do everything he could to avoid the contact, but the keeper committed, missed the ball and fouled him.

Both holding, haaland pulls cucurella off balance who responds by pulling haaland off balance, either both are fouls so free kick chelsea or neither are

Seen this take on X, could/should spurs not have had a free kick in the build up to the red card for simulation? Can see an argument for it just before there’s no contact on sterling who throws himself to the ground

Should be 9v10 but why do premier league referees and var struggle so much with violent conduct?

VAR is very busy tonight!

Romero will go for a kick out on Thiago and the Sterling goal is probably handball too.

Is it violent conduct in this day though? Anthony kicked a player in the Manchester Derby wasn’t sent off and Bruno forearm smash was fine.

If only there was some technology that could draw a calibrated line in 3 dimensions to find out if one point that may be off the ground is beyond another point that may be on the ground.

Even a Newcastle supporting colleague was laughing how that goal stood, another shocker for var.

This bit may be the bias talking but does the ball not hit an outstretched arm?

General Discussion / Re: Hodskinson or Antrobus.

It was a great wait and see by Antrobus.

The attacker was offside but had no impact.

I’m not too sure he was even in an offside position, he definitely didn’t impact based on how it’s defined.

Was at the game and completely agree, this is somehow a corner https://twitter.com/evann_lloyddd/status/1716906948153762095

Sorry to start a thread but if Stokes 1st goal isn’t handball then the law isn’t fit for purpose
